Re: David Haye
What a slow, boring and ponderous fight. Haye is past it but landed the bigger shots and the scouser has nothing in the locker. Both of them looked shot after 4 rounds. Haye picks up another injury, he's Boxings Andy Carroll.

Re: David Haye
If only Haye showed that heart and courage against Wladimir. Bellew won the lottery tonight.

Pagey 1:54 Sun Mar 5
Re: David Haye
Haye looked slow and sluggish before the injury and Bellew couldn't even put away a knackered bloke with one leg. Fair play to Bellew for taking that four punch combo from Haye but the hype worked and they both got their pay day.

Best buddies at the end, obviously, and a rematch mentioned (with another overhyped pay day) obviously.

Re: David Haye
Agree with that 2010... what was it a 5 inch reach advantage?? Never saw a jab for the 1st 4 or 5 round from Haye.... look at Lennox and Ali'... the jab was their best punch...used to suck the life out of their opponents... and once that happened the oppo' was easy to put away.... he has missed a massive trick

Agree, apart from the last fight bit

Haye will want to go on and likely will

Re: David Haye
For genuine boxing fans that was one of Hayes best ever fights in many ways. We all know he has a huge punch and unbelievable speed but tonight he showed some heart. Bellew was running scared even when Haye was on one leg. Massive credit to Bellew though. He got in the ring with a man who should have murdered him and struck gold.

Agree that Haye wins easily boxing boringly behind the jab but he wanted more than that. Probably not at Goodison next time in his last ever fight.

Last time I watched Boxing was Tyson v Buster Douglas. Never could get excited after the days of Leonard, Hagler, Duran and Hearns.

Re: David Haye
I do hope that is both of their last bouts in heavyweight boxing. Haye because he's a cunt and falling out of the ring is a hilarious end and Bellew because he is never a heavyweight. You could see Joshua found it all hilarious.

The fat mess Bellew a dedicated pro? Tell his paunch that.

Re: David Haye
To the victor, the spoils. Fair play to Bellow, he said he did it for the money, good for him.

David Haye comes out of this looking like the sanctimonious prick everyone knows he is. After all his rabbit last week to be sucking Bellow's bell end now is just humiliating.

The only ring Jaye will be seeing again is his Filipino houseboy's

`Bellew will not beat any half decent heavyweight ...`

Agreed.... I'd take the dollars and get back to his normal comfortable weight... he looked like he'd been eating pukka pies for a week just to get up to the acceptable weight...

Re: David Haye
surface, one credible fight in five years, the bloke is a circus act now. bellew's nothing special but at least he's a dedicated pro and loves the game, haye should pack it in now. he's in it for the wrong reasons now

No? The geezer just fought five or six rounds on one leg and was still unlucky to lose. Plank.

Re: David Haye
It was one of the more entertaining fights of recent times, if only for the fact that one was staggering about like a drunk at a wedding and the other could've barely hit a cripple with a handful of coins.

I'd like to see Haye V Eddie Hearn

Crassus 1:25 Sun Mar 5
Re: David Haye
Agree entirely with Soldo

As a fight that was a good scrap with plenty of heart on both sides - what's not to like?

Also, bar the achilles, Haye was in control, my money is that he wins the rematch by sitting behind the jab and winning in 6
